Christmas-y things…

Here are some christmascards and christmas presents I made for christmas 2011.

 

I chrocheted some gifts, a snake for my nephew Aron:

The snake is about 1 meter long.

Small hearts to friends:

The hearts are about 3 cm high.

I made butterflies for my niece Ella, I was not able to get a good pic. They are meant to be attached in a hook in a ceiling or window. They are made of wood (bodies) and acrylic wings, which I have painted. And threaded beads on organsa ribbons.

A little update finally…

Well it´s some time since I last showed you what I have done lately. Well this is not everything, I will make another post later (I hope)…

Fathers Day Card:

(On the cat in the upper right corner, I stitched with sewing thread around the outer shape/silhouette)

And, this is a pendant I made for a friends birthday. I have shaped the heart in metalwire and then added beads with a thinner metalwire around the basic shape.
I love hearts, and I know my friend does too, so it felt good to make this for her.
It was difficult to get a good photo of it, so this will have to do:

Birds…

Well I love birds, and I have made an entry in a Bird-deco.

White flowers

A theme for a DecoSquare in a swap I´m in is “White flowers”. I decided to interpret it a bit “freely” and have embroidered in cross-stitch a pattern I found in a knitting-book. Well at least the flower is white! (it´s the square in the middle)

 

I have just finished it today and will hopefully be able to send it off to Austria tomorrow!

The sky is always blue…

Sometimes to cheer me up I think about that the sky is always blue, and the sun is always shining (at least above the clouds), even when you can´t see it!

This DecoSquare is about that:

I made it with images/paper from magazines, when I was in hospital.

I have made another decosquare when I was in hospital, just with images/material from magazines/advertising:

If you love shoes, then there is always a reason to buy new ones! Why not some comfy warm ones for the coming cold winter?

And I have also embroidered a new bookmark, in cross-stitch. I have taken the pattern from an old book, it wasn´t originally ment for a bookmark, so I have slightly altered it to fit:

Hi there, as usual I have different “crafty” news to show you

First, an entry in a deco (yes it´s been a while since the last time!). The theme of the deco is “vintage women wearing hats” and here is my entry:
